And Yet Global Warming Is

The first decade of the 21 th century was the warmest on record for weather in the United States. This is with reference to NASA experts said Friday TV CNN.

Scientists at the Goddard Institute for Space Studies in American space agencies also found that the warmest since 1880, when scientists with the invention of various devices the opportunity to conduct systematic and more accurate weather observations began in 2005. The second highest rate was the last, in 2009, stressed the experts.

In the first decade of the century, the coldest was in 2008. This was mainly due to the influence of climatic phenomenon La Niña, which has caused a strong decrease in temperature in eastern and central Pacific Ocean.

The study emphasizes that the temperature on earth increased by 0.6 degrees over the past three decades and 0.8 degrees over the past century. In this regard, it is safe to say that global warming is taking place slowly and with considerable fluctuations over the past century until 1975, but then was observed its rapid acceleration - to 0.2 degrees Celsius per decade, say experts .

"Every year we observed that the temperature fluctuated depending on the phenomena of El Niño and La Niña. However, when it became clear that the average temperature for five to ten years do not correspond to cycles of these phenomena, we found that global warming continues unabated, "- noted the director of the Institute, James Hansen.

In compiling its report on climate change, scientists from the Goddard Institute for Space Studies used the data of thousands of weather stations around the world, testimony to the meteorological surface temperature of the seas and oceans, as well as information obtained by scientists at research stations in Antarctica.
