Antarctica In 1915
Photos of the famous British Trans-Antarctic Expedition, which took place in 1914-1917 gg under the leadership of Sir Ernest Shackleton.
Official photographer of the expedition was Frank Hurley, was he made those great colorful pictures.
In early 1915 their ship, "Tolerance" was captured by the Antarctic ice and began sinking. However, the pictures were saved.
