Program For Drug Addicts In Vancouver
In Vancouver, there is a program called «Insite», aimed at addressing one of the largest epidemics in North America - AIDS. The program distributed clean needles and provide safe places for intravenous drug users. Every room has 12 stalls. Nurses help to find a vein and properly and hygienically introduce drugs. They also help filter the drug overdose that has not happened.
